6th Asian Film Awards

El próximo 19 de marzo, se celebra en Hong Kong la 6th edición de los Asian Film Awards, los premios del cine asiático. Como ya hice el año pasado, pondré la lista de nominaciones. Teniendo en cuenta el número de candidaturas (aunque el año pasado Confessions se quedó a cero con 6), éstas serían las películas favoritas:

- Flying swords of Dragon Gate (China-Hong Kong) ---> 6
- Flowers of war (China) ---> 6
- Seediq Bale (Taiwán) ---> 6

Por ahora son pocos los títulos que he visto, pero quiero ponerme al día lo antes posible para dar mi opinión sobre los nominados.

Eso es todo. Ahora es turno para algunas conclusiones...

- Este año el idioma predominante es el chino. Las tres películas más nominadas han sido rodadas en ese idioma, lo que no deja de ser curioso.
- El cine japonés no está apenas presente. De hecho no hay cintas de este país con nominaciones múltiples...
- La película más nominada es "Flying swords of Dragon Gate" de Tsui Hark. Mañana mismo comentaré la peli en el blog, pero ya anticipo que me sorprende mucho tanta candidatura. Decepcionante, y mucho...
